We work closely with the school to fundraise and run extra-curricular programs to enrich the lives of the students at WOM. We have a voice in school policies and keep informed about board and province wide changes, keeping WOM involved in the wider education community.
Memberships on school councils are open to all parents and guardians of children enrolled at the school, as well as community members, the school principal, teachers and other staff.
Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the school library. Everyone is welcome!
We can't do all the great stuff for the WOM community that we'd like without the support and help of enthusiastic parents and guardians.
We're always looking for volunteers to get involved. We have everything from small jobs - just a few hours here and there - to jobs that require a day or two of planning work, to jobs that need a few hours a week.
If you can help in any small way, we'd love to hear from you!
Try our Facebook group, an active gathering of WOM parents and guardians where someone is sure to know the answer.
